Addiction Rehabilitation
Addiction is a social disease with physical and psychological effects, and without addressing the underlying causes of an individual's addiction, treatment will only be temporary. This issue is one of the most significant social, economic, and health problems, endangering the well-being of society and causing social stagnation and the decline of cultural and moral values. In Afghanistan, according to the 2014 National Drug Use Survey, approximately 2.9 to 3.5 million people use drugs. Although addiction can never be completely eradicated, it can be controlled with thoughtful planning and sincere efforts. The goals of addiction treatment include achieving a drug-free lifestyle, enhancing individual performance in various aspects of life, and preventing relapse.
